Simon Jordan SAVAGED Man Utd Anthony Martial

Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial was brutally taken down by Simon Jordan, calling him “a complete and utter waste of time.”

Anthony Martial’s tenure at Manchester United, according to former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan, has been a “complete waste of time.”

Due to surgery after suffering a groin injury earlier this month, Martial will be out until April. This means that before his contract ends, the Frenchman will have a few weeks to play for the Red Devils once more. Jordan, the former owner of Palace, has now criticized his nine years at Old Trafford.

Jordan stated on talkSPORT, “I view him as a total and total waste of time for Manchester United.”

Alex Crooks, the head football journalist for the channel, believes Martial could have played his final game for the team.

“We told you two or three weeks ago that he knows he won’t get that money anywhere else, so he has no intention of walking out on that big money contract,” Crooks said. “I can assure you that there have been some fictitious connections with Karim Benzema, and that will not occur.

“Despite the fact that Manchester United is lacking in attack due to Martial’s absence, it is doubtful that they will make any major additions during this transfer window. Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s strategy, in my opinion, is to assess the situation now and then ramp things up in the summer.

Although he became one of the most expensive teenage purchases in football history, Martial, now 28 years old, signed a £36 million contract to join United from Monaco in 2015. With add-ons, that amount increased to £57 million. In the last four seasons, he has scored a pathetic 19 goals.

While Martial is recuperating from surgery, United will return to action on Sunday when they play League Two team Newport County in the FA Cup’s round four. After that, on February 1, they play Wolves in the Premier League to resume their previous focus.
